Overview of the Administration Of Catering.
The Nutrition Management is administratively affiliated with the Office of the Assistant Secretary General for Administrative Affairs. It is responsible for supervising the provision of diverse and high-quality food services at Kuwait University.
It was established as an independent department in 1980, after previously being a division under the General Services Department.
It focuses on providing diverse food services for university students, staff, and faculty members, as well as students in university housing.
All food services are prepared in central kitchens within the university.
The university administration has allocated a budget for purchasing food materials and all necessary supplies for their preparation and serving.
The management is also responsible for preparing buffet services for university graduation ceremonies.
